Dr. Nikhil Patankar

Dr. Nikhil Patankar is an accomplished Ophthalmologist and Vitreo-Retinal Surgeon with over a decade of clinical and surgical experience. Known for his expertise, precision, and compassionate approach, he has been instrumental in transforming lives by restoring vision and preventing blindness through advanced eye care.

After completing his MBBS from M.I.M.E.R. Medical College, Pune, Dr. Nikhil pursued Diploma in Ophthalmology (D.O) from J.J.M. Medical College, Davangere. His dedication to academic excellence and patient-centered care led him to pursue advanced training — earning his DNB in Ophthalmology from M.M. Joshi Eye Institute, Hubli, one of India’s most respected institutions for ophthalmic education.

To further refine his expertise, Dr. Nikhil completed a Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery (FVRS) at Shri Ganapati Netralaya, Jalna, where he specialized in the diagnosis and surgical management of complex retinal disorders. His fellowship provided hands-on exposure to advanced retinal surgeries, including retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, macular hole, and vitreous hemorrhage management.
